Toolset Maps is extremly slow (unusable)

This support ticket is created 5 years, 11 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Toolset Maps is extremly slow (unusable) for Apple Safari users. Windows/Linux FF, Chrome works fine.
Since Google Maps works fine on other sites in Safari, it must be a problem how Toolset Maps utilizes Google Maps.

Please explain at least how to switch to Google Maps 'lite' mode.

Toolset Maps works fine in all browsers as I tested.

Please make sure the issue is due to Maps by disabling other Plugins and using a native WordPress Theme.

If then the issue still persists, please let us know how we can replicate it in the specific browser.

It may be helpful to provide a copy of a site where you replicated the problem, along with a detailed description of the steps you followed.

We can then have a closer look and spot the issue or fix it if possible.

In fact is was something that had to do with utilizing an input searchbox object with Toolset Map's map object. Case closed for me.
