Solution:

Yes, it is possible to use Toolset Custom Code snippets as a replacement to editing the functions.php of a child theme.

If you disable all Toolset plugins, then those Custom Code snippets will be disabled too, so you can consider it as Custom Code snippets for Toolset plugins.

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to use the Toolset Custom Code snippets as a replacement to editing the functions.php of a child theme (or parent theme)?

I'm currently adding filters in functions.php, but I feel it'd be more organized w/ Toolset Custom Code snippets.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to use Toolset Custom Code snippets as a replacement to editing the functions.php of a child theme.

And you are right, if you disable all Toolset plugins, then those Custom Code snippets will be disabled too, so you can consider it as Custom Code snippets for Toolset plugins.
