Hi,

I obtain an error message "The ancestors argument does not end with a valid post that is related for the returned post types on this View." on Search View for the following custom fields: city and state.

Any idea what is causing those issues?

Hello,

I assume we are talking about ancestors filters in Views custom search form, please check these:

1) Follow our document to setup the relationship filters, and test again:
https://toolset.com/documentation/post-relationships/how-to-display-related-posts-with-toolset/how-to-filter-posts-by-their-ancestors/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, deactivate all Custom code snippets, and test again
