I am trying to: use taxonomy.php to display CPT based on the custom taxonomy.

I expected to see: taxonomy.php to show the CPT's post based on the custom taxonomy.

Instead, I got:
Redirected to a 404.php.
All other plugins have being deactivated but the problem still persists.

Dear coder,

I assume we are talking about a custom taxonomy created with Types plugin, I just tested it in my localhost, but can not duplicate same problem with the latest version of Types plugin.
Are you viewing the custom taxonomy term's archive page.
https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/basics/template-hierarchy/#custom-taxonomies
Custom taxonomies use a slightly different template file path:

If the problem still exists, please describe detail steps to duplicate same problem:
How do you setup the custom taxonomy and custom post type?
Where and how do you see the 404 error page?

I need to duplicate same problem and debug it in my localhost.

Sorry for the late reply. I got it resolved already.
