Down and dirty: If I'm making a multi-site network and am going to have different sellers. Do I need to make the sellers themselves a Taxonomy to where it'll show everything they have for sale from the main site, instead of re-directing them to the actual sellers site full of sale items?

I'm not sure to understand, but you cannot share taxonomies, posts, fields or other types on WordPress MultiSites.

Mind to explain what you try to achieve, keeping in mind that you cannot share that kind of content in a MultiSite, but would need to create, populate and present it on each single SubSite?

To Create lists of products that are added by certain WordPress users on your Website, you could use a Post View that queries Products, and set a Query filter to return only posts by the xy author (which is the user you define):

Yes. Clients are to have their own subsites where they list their unique products. My idea was that I could showcase different products from different sellers on the main site.

So will I be able to query the subsites (products) from the main site? Or is that impossible?

Thanks.

As said, this is not possible in WordPress without expensive Custom Code that will affect as well the performance of your site.

I recommend to not use Multisite but instead use one site with several users.
How to build E-Commerce sites with Toolset in that case is elaborated here:
https://toolset.com/reference-site/toolset-woocommerce/
https://toolset.com/learn/create-an-ecommerce-wordpress-site/

On one site, you will be able to share all data and show it anywhere you want.
