[Resolved] Split: Restricting backend admin area access

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi Waqar

This user that I have created should not be able to access the /wp-admin dashboard part of the wordpress installation.. how do I manage this?

Hi Alim,

The Toolset plugins don't offer any built-in feature to restrict admin area access for specific user roles.

For this, you can either use some third-party plugin or custom code, as explained by Nigel in this thread:
