Singular and Plural Post Type names are the same

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Can we set Singular and Plural Post Type names as the same

Solution:
There should not be any issue and it should work without any conflict and issue when you use same name for singular and plural post name.

I've reviewed the following URLs re: single vs. plural Post Type names.

From what I understand, in 2014 one rep. mentioned that having the same name for both creates a conflict with the Access plugin. Is this still true?

Are there any performance or conflict issues if we want to have both be the same?

There are certain CPTs that are the same in either form. Example: book (singular, as in, to book an appointment), and book (plural) are essentially the same.

Can I keep both versions the same without causing any performance issues, and/or conflict?

Well - the post you are referring is too old of 2014 and we have done lot of work with Access plugin since then.

As far as I know there will be no issue and it should work without any conflict and issue when you use same name for singular and plural post name.
