I am trying to get a different sidebar for a custom types archive.
I found this thread https://toolset.com/forums/topic/how-can-i-get-a-specific-sidebar-in-the-different-archives/ bu it refers to Layout ad I am already using Layout.

I have created a "Layout" for each archive, they all use the wordpress archive template with the regular sidebar. For one specific Archive Layout I want a different sidebar. How do I go back to layout to make it happen.

I tried creating a "content Template" but it's not the right direction.

I also tried to create a page and use Layout, but you can't add a List and loops "Wordpress Archive post archives, blog, search, etc." as "Layout cell types" in a page.

Thanks

Hello,

I assume we are talking about this case:
you are going to display a specific WordPress sidebar within a specific layout, if it is, you can follow our document to add a "Widget Area" cell into the layout:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/layouts/widget-area-cell/
You can create new, edit existing and manage widget areas from the Layouts editor page.

And you can display different sidebar in different layout.
