[Resolved] Show related content on single post view page

Tell us what you are trying to do? I've create a resource section that lists all different types of resources by category and by file type. When you click on a result in the list are get taken to a single item page, I want to show related resources below the selected result eg. Other resources in the same category.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I've tried to follow the documentation.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

It's like on many blogs or shops where the show you similar or related items.

Dear Cam,

I assume we are talking about these:
1) the "category" is a custom taxonomy registered to custom post type "resource"
2) one single "resource" post can have multiple "category" terms
3) You are going to display the related resources posts in a single "resource" post

If my assumption are correct, you can try with a nested view, for example,
1) parent view list terms of taxonomy "category", filter by:
Taxonomy is set by the page where this View is inserted
And display below child post view
2) Child view list posts of custom post type "resource", filter by:
Select posts with taxonomy:
"category" set by the parent Taxonomy View
and display post links

then put the parent view into single "resource" post to display related resources posts
