Hello,

I have removed your website credentials from above post, it is not safe to post it publicly.

For the question:
create featured posts from custom post type - show featured posts on homepage

How do you define the featured posts?

In my opinion, you can try these:
1) Create a custom checkbox field "featured-post", and register it to post type "Post", if user enable "featured-post" checkbox field, save value 1 to database
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-custom-fields/

2) Edit those specific posts, enable "featured-post" checkbox field

3) Create a post view,:
- query posts
- filter by field "featured-post" = 1
