The Toolset Community Forum is closed, for technical support questions, please head on to our Toolset Professional Support (for paid clients), with any pre-sale or admin question please contact us here.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
How to install a Toolset Framework (Reference site) On a new or existing WordPress install?

Solution:
1. Reset your DDBB

2. Clean out all Plugins you have in your FTP (All Toolset, all Plugins, if you don't have any content best is,
reset/re-install the whole WordPress)

3. Install all Plugins from here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
(you need Views, Layouts, Access, Maps and CRED + Types)

4. Get the Framework Installer from above same page

5. In your WP Admin, activate the Framework installer

6. If requested, reset the DDBB again

7. Activate and run the Framework installer

8. Install your preferred Test Site

I am trying to: Install the reference sites

I visited this URL: I've visited lots of threads and have wiped my WP install and DB a few times with no luck. Also followed the toolset -> settings -> reset demo site a few times too.

I expected to see: A demo site installed.

Instead, I got: An error message: This demo site can't be installed. Please ensure that you meet all plugin and site requirements before installing a demo site.

I'm hoping someone can advise what I could possibly be doing wrong!

Please can you try by following the exact step by step instructions I provided here:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-render_view/#post-371355

If after doing this exact step by step, it does not work, I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site
in order to be of better help

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

Please let me know what exact site you want installed.

Thank you

Thank you for your prompt attention. At the same time, I checked my hosting and there was a PHP malfunction with ZIP files so the error was at my end. All sorted now and I look forward to working with Toolset.
