[Resolved] remove edit capabilities to a specific role

in a custom post type (menu) I have the choice of several related post (piatti) via connection button
I'dlike to leave this function (connect and disconnect a relationship) to a specific role (editor) but remove all edit or quick edit capability to this role

if in access i put the edit capabilities of for the editor, in page diseapper the button connect existing relation

Thank you for getting in touch.

Unfortunately this won't be possible.

Essentialy the edit capabilities is needed in order for you to Connect or Disconnect posts. This is because you are essentially editing a post when you connect it in a relationship.

So unless the user has edit capabilities then for the post then it won't be possible to do.
