Hi

You can see miyissue here: hidden link

I am running toolset types in combination with views.

In this example I created a slider using vie.
For the slider I use a container. I have set the background dynamic.
But in this example u can see though its sliding the background doesnt change. It is always the same.
I have tried in a grid and it worked perfectly.

I also want to set specific size for the container.
Unfortunately I do not find an option.

regards
Peter

Hi
I create a slider using view.
I Design it using the Block Editor.
I create a Container and Set an image as Background.
For the image I choose a dynamic source.

It seems the source does not get relaoded in the slider.

I have tried it in my localhost according to the steps you provided above.

It works fine in my localhost, I get different background image for each slide.

so the problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2021, and test again

3) Also check if there is any PHP/JS error in your website:
https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/debugging-sites-built-with-toolset/

4) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

Hi
I did proceed step 1 and 2.
Nothing changed.

I do not want to proceed 3 and 4 as this is not why I bought toolset.

nevermind.

But there was another question in the opener:
I also want to set specific size for the container.
Unfortunately I do not find an option.

any advise on this?

Are you using option "Make the entire container a link" in the Container Block?
If it is, it is a known issue, see similar thread:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/dynamic-container-background-image-within-view-is-the-same-for-every-item/

Can you confirm it?

And above issue had already been escalated.

Hi

Sounds good about the block link.
Love this option and use it.
I will test later in the day as I am on mobile now.
I will let you know asap.

About the other problem I understand it is escalated.
How will I know if it is fixed?

Regards
Peter

Q1) background dynamic
I assume we are talking about the same problem as the thread I mentioned above, it has been escalated, and I will update here if there is any news.

Q2) set specific size for the container
I assume you are going to set the width of container block.

No, there isn't such an option, by default the container block will display 100% width, but you can use CSS codes to customize it, for example:
hidden link

Hi Luo Yang

Your advise about container as link was perfect.
I deactivated this option and the slider worked fine.
thumbs up.

Next step made me looking for a work-around.
I created a container as as link.
Within this container I created a container as slider.
This works fine.

The only problem I have now is to set the style for links.
It seems to be set as standard though I tried to set CSS manually and by block editing.
I just dont get it.
Any tip?

I also managed to set sizes.
By setting "inner content" px sizes for the container within the container.

I am happy.
Just the link style sucks 🙁

Result hidden link

I suggest you add a custom CSS class name to the those text/links, see my screenshot: my-text.JPG

Then setup CSS codes to style the specific CSS class.
