Hello. I've encountered an issue where in some cases but not others the URL's for a page within a post type redirect to a page in another post type or to a 404 page. Please see this video where I show the issue:

In case it's helpful, I have created a copy of the WordPress Multisite instance. You are welcome to log in as temporary Super Admin, as follows:

I look forward to your help in finding the cause and getting it working correctly.

Thank you,
Steve

Hello Steve and thank you for contacting the Toolset support. Thank you for the screencast, it explains the issue clearly.

I run a test that is giving the expected result, but I did not find out the origin of this issue. The solution that I implemented consisted of changing the slug of the custom post type, then adding the desired URL to the rewrite rule. Check this screenshot hidden link

Then you will have to check in a private window or in a new browser because redirections are usually cached on the server level.

I hope this is a viable solution for you. Otherwise, we can investigate where the issue is coming from. First, I'll suggest checking if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty-Twenty. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at the time to track where the incompatibility is produced.
