Performnce issues on a woocommerce site

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

We are using toolset on our woocommerce store. The theme that is used on the store is a custom theme made by us as our requirement was very specific. We are trying to increase the backend performance of our product pages and found some bottlenecks.

This is the screenshot transaction from new relic of product page.

As you can see the backend response time for the page is. 1.7s

If you look closely to #OTGSToolsetViewsControllerCacheMetaFiltersPost::generate_cache this function you will see that, 388ms is being used by the above function. Should it be taking so much time ?

As discussed in the chat, it will help us very much if we can get any performance metrics for the same product page on the following scenarios:
- Using Toolset plugins, a default theme, and all other plugins.
- Using Toolset plugins, a default theme, and NO other plugins.
- Using Toolset plugins, your theme, and all other plugins.
- Using Toolset plugins, your theme, and NO other plugins.

Please provide any metrics possible:
- Page load.
- Server time.
- Database time.
- Anything else, would be helpful.
