[Resolved] Pagination problem: Navigating to previous page shows 404 page not found

Hi,

On this page something strange happens: hidden link
When navigating to a previous page, i'm getting a 404 not found error. The button is placed on the bottom of the page (« Vorige Pagina). This is the generated link: hidden link (shows 404 page).

I expect it to show a new page with 10 older blog posts.
I can extend the number of blog posts per page (and older blog posts appear correctly). However, due to the amount of posts i would like to have the pagination working correctly.

Hi Erwin,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. I have checked your page and Blog view, please follow below steps:

1. Update Divi theme to latest version.

2. Try to remove and re-add the filters / query filters again, there are some unsed filters in the View -- see attached screenshot. Sometimes re-adding filters resolves such issues. OR please try to create a new test View and see if pagination works in it?

3. Also please clear all sort of caches in your site plugin cache (WP Rocket) / CDN cache (if any) / browser cache too.

All steps are done. The same problem occurs.

I found the issue, which was in permalink settings you were using:
/artikelen/%category%/%postname%

When we change it to: /%category%/%postname% OR any default permalink settings of WP, the pagination works fine.

So I have generated same url using parent and child categories. See video here that shows new settings and urls working correct now:
