Tell us what you are trying to do?
Trying to load toolset blocks. It does not seem to load. May be due to this error: Outgoing Connections Manager
Help
This feature allows you to specify certain IPs or IP ranges to which you will be able to open outgoing connections.

Are one of these yours?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi, I can ask our systems team and developers for a bit more information about these domain/IP/port combinations. Out of curiosity, what is this Outgoing Connections Manager - part of another 3rd-party plugin? A server mod/extension? Is it possible to temporarily disable it for testing to confirm there isn't another possible source of the problem?

You mentioned that Toolset Blocks will not load. Can you be more specific? Are you trying to load the Block Editor to edit a post, or some specific part of the plugin in wp-admin? Is the plugin itself not installing successfully?

HI, Thank you for getting back to me.
I assumed the issue was/is from my hosting, since I do not have this issue anywhere else. The hosting company blocks outgoing connections with a 'Outgoing Connections Manager'. Right now it says not blocking anything.
Recently Blocked Connections

45.55.99.105 port: 443
204.79.197.200 port: 80
13.107.21.200 port: 80

I have loaded the 'Toolset Blocks', and when I go to put my licence key in, there is no place for the code. But keeps showing the warning put the key in.

This is a new wordpress install and all plugins are updated. I see the blocks plugin and seems to work.

Okay so it sounds like the plugins seem to be working correctly but you cannot register. Normally you would go to wp-admin > Plugins > Add New, then click the "Commercial" link in the submenu. Scroll down below the WPML section and you will see a Toolset section. Can you take a screenshot or screenshots showing me what you see? I am including some examples.
unregister.png: This is what you would normally see after entering your license key and registering the site

register-1.png: This is what you would normally see when the site is unregistered

register-2.png: This is what you would normally see when the site is unregistered, after clicking "Register Toolset", so you can enter your license key

unfortunately I do not get all those screens. You can see by the image attached. Strangely, it looks like blocks is working, since I have been creating new view areas.

Okay I see, let me ask my 2nd tier team for some more information about our installer/registration system. I'll find out if we can provide a range of IPs you can whitelist, or if any of the ones you already mentioned are ours.

Just so you are aware, the system will continue to work as expected without registering, with a few exceptions. The exceptions are:
- You will continue to see notices urging you to register the software.
- Automatic updates will not be available. Whenever new versions of the plugins are released, you must update manually to get the latest versions.

Stand by and I will update you shortly with feedback on registration.

A response from my systems team:

Here are some possible IPs:

35.172.73.19
3.223.48.91
52.21.69.240
52.45.24.234
3.232.162.105
54.175.221.123

We use cloudfront so those IPs are variable by region. the client’s site will try to connect to api.toolset.com or api.wpml.org for updates, as well as d7j863fr5jhrr.cloudfront.net. since they are using an Outbound Connection blocks, their server needs to whitelist outgoing connection to those sites. If you use commands like host, nslookup, or dig on your PC, you will get a similar IP list.

e.g. in Terminal using

host -t A api.toolset.com
host -t A d7j863fr5jhrr.cloudfront.net

That should give you a list of the corresponding IPs for your region.

Thank you,

I will contact hosting support and give them this information.

#1657415

Great, I'll stand by for your update.

#1657629

the licence feature is still broken after server admin unblocked all outgoing. Not an issue for any other site, so I know this is on my end. Unzipped the plugins once more to make sure there is no corruption.

#1658789

After they have unblocked outgoing connections, you can try going to the main WP updates page at /wp-admin/update-core.php, and click "Check again" or "Check for updates" a couple of times. If this doesn't open up the registration portal, there may be a problem with the cURL installation on the server or some other server setting preventing you from receiving updates.

#1658857

That did it. I now can see the registration page. Than you for your support and patience.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
