[Resolved] Number post field validation appears twice

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
In Toolset > Post Fields > Number the validation is appearing twice.

Solution:
This is expected.
One is the validation to check if the entered value is a number, the other if the field is required (if any data at all is entered)

On my local and remote server the Number custom post field validation area appears twice. It seems to be consistent across all my Toolset sites.

No, this is expected.
One is a validation for the Type of Data stored, the other for if any Type of Data is stored.

In simple words, Validation "Required" checks if the field is submitted empty, and the Validation "Number" checks if the submitted Data is nuemerical.

Ah, yes, of course. I simply saw the two identical 'Validation' fields and not the difference in the predefined text for the message.

It may just be me, but may I make a suggestion... perhaps the 'Data validation' checkbox label could be called just that?
