[Resolved] Not all of my map markers are displaying.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: A map is missing markers and is centred in the Atlantic off the coast of Africa.

Solution: That points to problems with the API key, and for Google it may be necessary to add a second key, as described in the documentation.

I am trying to: I have a custom post type, with custom fields with a location. One displays okay the other fails.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see:

A marker in the suburb of Bayswater, Western Australia

Instead, I got:

Equatorial Guinea

Languages: English (English ) Spanish (EspaƱol )

Timezone: Europe/London (GMT+01:00)

The map centred on lat and long of zero normally points to a Maps API problem, and checking the settings page of your site there is an issue with your API key (screenshot).

Can you please review the instructions for creating your API key, and pay special attention to the last section about problems with the Google API that can necessitate adding a second unrestricted key: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/display-on-google-maps/creating-a-google-maps-api-key/

Thanks Nigel, makes sense because the staging site is a subdomain of the host.

Cheers mate.
