I'm looking for code examples on how to both display repeating user fields and add and deleted these fields.

I tried the suggestion on this page:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/repeating-fields/
But it didn't work or help.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Using Types you can add user fields to user profile. Please refer to following link:
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/user-fields/

To display repeating user fields using PHP you can use:

types_render_usermeta_field( "my-field", array( "user_current" => true ) )
