Hi, I have a CPT made for users called "ouders" (parents) I have made an template in Elementor to apply to all the parents cpt.
Then I have used access control to manage who can see this template .

however now its not showing the elementor template at all.

I have done the same for "oppassers" (nannies) and there it works just fine and I am very confused.

I have tried everything I can think of in the Access control settings but I feel like I'm missing something yet can't figure out what exactly

Hi, can you show me exactly how you restricted Access to this Elementor template using Access controls? If you can take a screenshot in wp-admin that would be helpful. Thanks!

Okay when an Administrator visits an Ouders post, what do they see? Is this different from what a Guest sees?

As Administrator there is also nothing visible, which is one of the reasons I am so confused about it.

Okay let's try these troubleshooting steps first:
- Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Types and Views if you currently have them active, Access, Elementor and Elementor Pro.
- Temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen.
- Resave your Permalinks
- Test the Ouders pages again. If the problem is resolved, reactivate your other plugins and theme one by one until the problem returns.
- If the problem is not resolved, there could be a server side error. I can help you check the server logs if necessary to see if there is a server side issue.

Hi Christian,

It seems Elemento Pro is the culprit.
After deactivating it, I finally see only the title of the ouders cpt (which makes sense the rest are custom fields ).

now to figure out how to fix it ....... I have tried to rollback an older version but that didn't work either, so if you could have a look at the logs that would be great, now there are many logs available withing wp which one exactly is best for me to send ?

If there is a conflict with Elementor Pro, I should probably log into your wp-admin area and create a clone of your site. Then I could run some additional tests locally and see if the problem can be resolved. If you approve, please provide login credentials in the private reply fields here.

Sorry but these login credentials do not seem to work. I see an error when I try to log in. Can you test and send an update if necessary?

I removed the Toolset Content Template that was assigned to this post. It is not recommended to use both a Toolset Content Template and an Elementor Pro template.

Yes it seems to be working indeed, could you please tell me where exactly you removed it.
It seems I have lost my overview of things at the moment.

The Content Template setting can be found in the Ouders post editor screen. Please find the screenshot attached, I selected "Geen" here. You can do the same for other Ouders posts.

You should also edit the Ouderslogin template here:

Uncheck "ouders profilien" for "Gebruik wijzigen" under "Dit inhoudssjabloon wordt gebruikt voor Ouders profielen."
That will prevent the problem in new Ouders posts.
