I am trying to: Add some of the Custom Fields I set up for a Taxonomy. I'm trying to use them to insert information and also to set some conditional fields.

When I click the Fields & Views button the custom fields (term fields) do not appear. Other custom fields that are Post Fields appear fine.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I would like to know first - where exactly you want to display the term fields?

you can display the terms fields using the taxonomy view.
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/custom-content/displaying-wordpress-term-fields/

And yes - if you are using the [wpv-conditional] shortcode or using GUI to build your conditional statement, term fields will not be available. Its expected. You need to contrast your conditional statement manually. However - this limitation is known to us and our Devs will try to improve and try to add the term fields in GUI selection.

Hi Minesh,

Thanks for confirming that.

I was able to hack together a solution that I'll share below of anyone else who has this problem.

[wpv-conditional if="( '[types termmeta='instagramurl' output='raw' target='_blank'][/types]' ne '' )"]<a href="[types termmeta='instagramurl' output='raw' target='_blank'][/types]"><img src="<em><u>hidden link</u></em>" width="50" height="50" class="size-thumbnail" /></a>[/wpv-conditional]
