I am trying to: Show a list of addresses for a business in a directory. I would like to separate multiple addresses, but instead they are running altogether (after USA the new address starts immediately behind, such as:
1048 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302, USA1708 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60647, USA63 Church St, Cambridge, MA 02138, USA797 Grand Ave, St Paul, MN 55105, USA38 Greene St, NY, New York 10013, USA262 Mott St, NY, New York 10012, USA901 NW 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97209, USA1113 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98101, USA

I expected to see:
comma separating function to be working, or in my case I am using "

  • " as separators wrapped around

    tags.

    Instead, I got:
    separation function not working.

    Hello,

I assume we are talking about a custom multiple instance field created with Types plugin, you can use Views shortcode [wpv-for-each] to display them with UL format, see our document:
    https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views-shortcodes/#wpv-for-each
Iterate through multiple items in a post meta field and output the enclosed text for each item. Including Types repeating fields.

When we try that loop, it's repeating every address in every iteration of the loop.

    [wpv-for-each field='wpcf-business-address'][types field='business-address'][/types]<br />[/wpv-for-each]

    yields the attached image

Please try to modify your codes as below, and test again:

    <ul>[wpv-for-each field='wpcf-business-address']<li>[types field='business-address'][/types]<li />[/wpv-for-each]</ul>

I used the code you provided, but it still does not separate out the multiple addresses. It only creates more addresses (the entire string of addresses is repeated for however many addresses there are).

    Any word on this issue?

    #948910

It has been put into our to-do list, and marked as bug of Types plugin, our developers are still working on it, I will update this thread if there is anything news.

Here is the feedback from our developers, it is fixed in Types plugin 3.0.5, you can download it here:
    https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

Please test it with all latest version of Toolset plugins, and feedback if it is fixed or not, thanks
