I am trying to export some element built in views, types, layout, etc from my test site to the production site using the Module Manager.

When I click on export, I expect the zip file to download so I can upload it to the prod site.

The zip file downloads but gives an error: the compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted.

I have tried to export in the test site + the prod site and both sites giving the same error.
Both sites are on different servers. Multisite installs.

Is this a known issue?

Hi Norman,

Thanks for your reply. I've just updated all my Toolset plugins to the latest versions. (They look good btw)

I've tried again to export modules using the modules manager, but no joy.

I get the same error message.

see attached, the error msg when I try to open the zip file that downloads.

see below the debug info:

Hello,

1. Please add the debug report in the Debug Information box and not paste it in the message box directly.

2. Looks like Toolset server requirements are not same as required. You can see the minimum Toolset requirements here: https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/

- MySQL 5.5.35 version in your site, is lower than the required for Toolset.
- PHP is 5.4.16 which is good, but it is advised to use more up-to-date version for better performance and stability. You can contact your website hosting company to upgrade this for you.

Once you will update PHP and MySQL version, please let me know the issue resolved or not and I would be happy to debug this issue further.

Thank you

#493233

I can't update my MySQL 5.5.35 version
Your requirements state that Toolset will work with 5.1 but its just not recommended as its no longer supported.

Pls delete the last message with my debug info.

I have attached it in the debug info box now.

Hello,

Sorry, but still debug information box is empty. Can you please double check?

Also can you send us copy of your site using the Duplicator plugin or any other plugin,
and we will try to check this issue at our end?
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Thank you

Hello Laura,

Thanks but we are not able to see your debug info in the debug box. In the other debug info that you have sent previously, looks like you are trying to remove your site URL due to which we can't see your site.

- I have tried to reproduce the issue at my end. I exported old and new modules and I am able to export working ZIP files without any issue.

- I believe upgrading MySQL and PHP does not harm websites much. I am not sure where you have seen MySQL requirement as 5.1. The latest article that we have since long time is the one here which say MySQL 5.6 and above: https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/

Toolset basic requirements needs to be met in order for the plugin to work properly. Sorry, but we can’t help much if the server configurations are not upto the requirements. Alternatively, you can copy your site to another server which meets the requirements and we can check it there.

Thank you

Please see the debug info attached.

I have a test site which is running Mysql 5.5.35

But my production site is runnning Mysql 5.7.15

They both give me the same error when I try to open the downloaded zip file.

Hello Laura,

Thank you for providing more details. The site listed in debug info is not opening up at our end. Also in plugins list I cannot see Toolset Module Manager.

1. I found some other tickets where people have reported the same issue and they were able to fix it after creating new Views, and found that the issue occurred due to corruption of data in database and creating a new View solved the problem, so you can try the same method:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/module-manager-exports-corrupt-zip-file/#post-352406
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/export-zip-files-corrupt/#post-223170

- Also when you export the modules, please only select the New View that you have created, this will confirm that the data corruption may have occurred in old views.

2. Further, please Enable WordPress debugging in your site and look for any errors it shows during export process: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/debugging-toolset/

Thank you
