make new users need approval

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I want new users to be approved and not become a registered user straight away
Is there any documentation that you are following?
I cannot see any

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hello,

There isn't such kind of feature within Toolset plugin:
users to be approved and not become a registered user straight away

As a workaround, you can setup a lower user role + a higher user role
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/managing-wordpress-admin-capabilities-access/

After new user registered in your website, setup them as lower user role, then administrators can upgrade(approve) those user to higher user role manually.
