[Resolved] List events by Day

This support ticket is created 6 years, 7 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello. I'm trying to list events by Day, like so:

Monday (heading)
Event title, description, time, etc.
Tuesday (heading)
Event title, description, time, etc.
... and so on.

Can I create a view (or view in view) which returns this data based on the Start Date & Time, or do I need to create a taxonomy for the Days, and apply that to each event post?

I currently don't have anything to show on a live site, only a local development site.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - to add a taxonomy for Day names will be the easiest and fast and elegant solution as later on it will be easy for you to filter your post by taxonomy.

If you do not want to go with taxonomy solution then you need custom shortcode. Here is the solution that you might interested in:
