keep the old version online before validation

I would like to know if it is possible
with a cred publication form
what is the status of the article to get the following

the subscriber modifies his article
the old article remains online

when the administrator validates it
the new article is online

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. I am afraid that is not possible using builtin features of Toolset but we have another client who had the similar issue and was also able to solve it:
