[Resolved] Just thoughts …

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
I want to suggest a new feature for Toolset. Where and how can I do that? How to add my voice to the request(s) discussed in the below thread?

Solution:
You can suggest, and upvote (add your voice to, request as well) new features for Toolset here:
https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/

Toolset's Product Management receives a notification and accordingly evaluates and plans features for Toolset.

Here are a few discoveries/bugs I made last week. Perhaps they deserve your attention within upcoming updates. Thanks Guys - Great Plugins!!

1. Taxonomies: Add New Taxonomy (term): After filling in the 'name' field and/or 'slug' then Saving (Add New Taxonomy) ... the new 'term' does not appear in the list, nor does the 'name' and/or 'slug' field empty. Upon a browser refresh, the new 'term' does finally appear in the list (the Save should auto refresh page), however, the 'name' and/or 'slug' field still does not empty (should clear itself).

2. Content Templates: If you change the 'title' of an existing "Loop Item in ..." entry, and then delete the old existing 'slug' and tab-away ... all your other Toolset screens will auto populate the 'slug' field with the new name (regardless if new or had changed an existing). Instead it reverts back to the old existing slug, until you manually type the new-slug.

3. Content Templates & Views: (continuation from above point): Upon changing the 'name' and 'slug' of a Content Template "Loop Item in ...", Toolset does not auto-exchange this new 'name' or 'slug' in to its View. It also does not auto-exchange the new 'name' and/or 'slug' into any other instance that uses it. All other Toolset 'name' and/or 'slug' changes always auto-convert its other attached items.

4. Any progress update on the ability for Toolset to bulk upload media directly to a Post Type? I'm sure this is WordPress related, but couldn't Toolset just create their own Media Libary to move beyond? I know this feature request goes back at least till 2015 with users. Single image uploads to a Post Type when there are hundreds or thousands of images to upload is a bit antiquated.

1. This works just fine on my local install.
Are you sure there are no JS errors in the console and other software conflicting here?
If so, please open a dedicated ticket for the issue with a duplicate, if possible, so we can try to replicate it from there, since I was not able to see this locally.

Please don't file such tickets as a request for improvement, where we basically handle "Feature Requests" you might have for Toolset, instead report that something is not working as it should (if you think you found bugs). Or, of course, the "need help" if you just need help with.

2. I am not sure here how to replicate this and as well suggest the same as for #1 above.

3. This sounds like a feature Request, which we can handle here.

Do you request that all instances, (pages, posts, forms, layouts, etc etc) would be updated with the new slug of a certain Template or View when you update those slugs?
Such as ShortCodes, Cells in Layouts, etc?
That will not be implemented probably as it is a massive query running for such updates on eventually countless contents.

4. Yes, actually there is work in progress, but I have no ETA on this.
However, there is work being in progress right now for it.
You can still as well vote on the requests, as below link, where you also will see what will get implemented approximately.
