Is it possible to change "hl" parameter of Google reCaptcha?

This support ticket is created 7 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I would like to force Google reCaptcha to be in another language. Is it possible? Can it be done with some hook?

Hi Armanda,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately not, i'm not aware of any way to change this to another language. This is due to the fact that we are using Google's Code for the reCaptcha, so our plugin does not generate the Captcha.

Alright, I can modify plugin to get the iframe source link suitable for may needs, but it's just not nice. If there is no any hook to modify parameter "hl", are you planing to make one? Or maybe add some field in settings page...

Here is the example of iframe source:

hidden link???-???&co=???&hl=en....

Any solution would be out of the scope of our support forum.

However I did some googling and you should be able to use some javascript to do it.
