Hello,

Does any import plugin that you know of support posts in many 2 many relationship with an intermediary?
I have wp all import BETA version. It doesn't seem to support intermediaries.

Hi Luo,

Sorry, I wasn't clear. What I meant to say was many 2 many with an intermediary that has FIELDS.
WP all import can do the same as csv importer but it doesn't address the fields in the intermediary post. Does csv importer? I don't see that mentioned in example #4.

According to our document, WP All Import plugin does not support the intermediary post type:

Many-to-many relationships that use the intermediary post type are not supported by the WP All Import plugin. If you need this kind of support please let us know.

This is a intermediate posts cvs, here you can setup the custom fields of intermediate post type, same as other normal post type.

FYI
I've tested out WordPress Ultimate CSV Importer Pro thoroughly in their sandbox site - and it is BUGGY.
It's very promising though if they can fix this bug.
A guy in chat confirmed the bug.
When importing many2many posts with intermediary that has fields, after import, when the relationship is viewed within the parent or child post in the editor, in the imported number and text field it adds (appends) to the text or number data the title of the parent and child, as well as the relationship slug. When viewed in the intermediary post created it appears fine. I have no way of testing if this bug will affect views on the front since the "views" plugin is not installed in their demo site.
If I do a "quick update" in the child or parent it seems to fix it. There's no way I would want to do that to thousands of imported posts though!

Is this a bug of WordPress Ultimate CSV Importer Pro plugin? Can you confirm it?
If it is, please check it with their support, check if they can fix this issue.

Yes, the guy I chatted with said it was a bug. Then I got an email from them saying they "created the feature requested with our WordPress development team." Not sure why they said "feature request" when it's an issue/bug fix. I tested the plugin out several times in their sandbox and it was always the same result (imported number and text field it adds (appends) to the text or number data the title of the parent and child).
They said I should try it again after Wednesday. I will keep you posted.

WordPress Ultimate CSV Importer Pro fixed the issue. It works great now!
Very easy to use for importing relationships, even many2many with intermediary fields.
