[Resolved] Images in Custom Posts Are Not Displaying

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

Using Elementor template to design those single photo-album posts, and using Elementor Gallery widget to display repeatable image fields.

Solution:

It is Elementor plugin can not output the images, I don't think we can fix their problem, you might need to check it with Elementor support.

As a workaround, you can try our Toolset Blocks plugin:

Tell us what you are trying to do? Display images in custom posts

Is there any documentation that you are following? No

Is there a similar example that we can see? All pages are private. Can I send you credentials for password protected area?

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hi, I’ve just put up a site at mollielee.com/private and have created 2 custom post types called Photo Albums and Letters. There is one custom field group associated with each post type and each group has two custom fields, one being a date field, the other an image field. I created a template page for each post type in Elementor.

Initially this morning I created one post for the Photo Album post type and one for the Letters custom post type just to check they were working with the template. All good. I sent the site to my client to show them and they asked me to add some more posts to make the site look more finished.

I added two more Photo Album posts and one Letter post and in all the new posts I’ve just added, none of the images are displaying. Even when I am in edit mode in the Elementor Template page and I change the preview options to any post other than the first one I created, the images don’t show.

The site is very basic and apart form the whole site directory being password protected there’s nothing odd about it. Only Toolset and Elementor related plug ins are installed.

Can you help please.

Can I give you admin login to have a look?

If I upload screenshots will they be private?

Many thanks,
Barry.

Thanks for the details, I can login your website and see the problem, but you are using Elementor template to design those single photo-album posts, and using Elementor Gallery widget to display those images, it is Elementor plugin can not output the images, I don't think we can fix their problem, you might need to check it with Elementor support.

As a workaround, you can try our Toolset Blocks plugin:
1) Deactivate/remove the "Photo Album Single" Elementor template
2) Install Toolset Blocks plugin, you can download it here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
3) Follow our document to design those single photo-album posts with Toolset Content Template:
