I have created a custom post type with an address field and a map/view that displays all those posts. I would like to allow users to be able to save their favourite posts (either through Toolset or a simple plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-favorite-posts/) and then I would like to create a view/map that displays those custom posts that they have 'favourited'. I have Buddypress installed so maybe that would be a way to do it.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - I checked with the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-favorite-posts/ and it saves the favorite post ID with user meta field "wpfp_favorites".

Now, as I correctly understand, you would like to display current user favorite posts, if this is correct:
=> I would suggest that install the plugin "wp-favorite-posts" and make some favorite posts for one user and send me that user login.
=> Create the view to display that the favorite posts for that user - dont worry about user specific favorite posts, just create a view to display all posts now and share problem URL with me where you added this view.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
