After updating my wordpress sites yesterday. 2 clients have complained saying that they are getting a fatal error message:

Fatal error: Cannot access self:: when no class scope is active in /home/hampwi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/types-access/includes/Helper.php on line 2420
When I deleted Access from the plugins from the control panel. Everything worked on one website, so I left it.

This website: hidden link

now has the same problem, but I can't delete Access because their website depends on it to function.

Any ideas?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***

Could you please check PHP version you are using and update PHP and MySQL if in case you are using old PHP version, as WordPress it self says that minimum PHP version is required is version 5.6 or greater.
=> https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

One of the user having same issue said that he do not face any issue with PHP version 5.5.26.

You may contact your hosting authority and ask them to update PHP version on server.
