I am using the Suffusion theme which includes a search capability. However, when I search for a term that does exist in a custom field, the term is not found. Is there a way that I can change this behavior in Types, Views, or Access?

Thanks.

Dear Brad,

Our plugins alone dont have this feature, but there are other plugins that will let you search in custom post types and custom fields:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/relevanssi/
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-everything/

Both work fine together with Types and Views.

Please let me know if you are satisfied with my answer and if I can help you with any other questions you might have.

Regards,
Caridad

Hi Caridad,

Thank you, that was very helpful. Relevanssi looks like a good fit for me. Yolink is another possibility for larger sites in the future.

Brad.
