[Resolved] How to create a Repetable Field Set?

Hello,

Currently we can create repeatable fields but is it possible to create Repetable Field Sets. For e.g. entering data in the following custom fields multiple times:

Name:
Email:
Phone:

I knew about a WP plugin (can't recall the name) that allows us to create repetable field sets.

Dear Alok,

Its not possible to repeat groups of fields, but there is another approach with the same results. Create a child custom type and attach the fields you want to repeat to this type.
In the parent record you will be able to edit the childs from the Fields meta box.

Hi Caridad,

I went to Custom Fields > Add a custom field group but in there, I couldn't find the option to create a child custom type. I searched for this in the other areas but no good.

Can you please point me to the right section where I can make these changes.

Dear Alok,

Create a new custom post type and near the bottom you will find the parent/child relationship. There is more information in this guide:

While the solution you suggested seems to be a work around but still it would be a great addition to have a repeatable set of fields feature. May be you can plan it in the future release.
