Am trying to add custom search, which can allow authorized user to search the content.

I've gone through documentation that is there in
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-page-filters/#custom-search-page
but options in this documentation do not match with options i see in my site toolset views.

I've multiple post types in my site, am looking to add a input field(search) & a button which can filter all the post types and display the results.
Very similar to the search option you have in Toolset Professional support search https://toolset.com/forums/forum/professional-support/

You want to be able to perform a text search across multiple post types, is that right?

When you create a custom search View, in the Content Selection, choose all of the post types you want to include in the search.

In the Search and Pagination section, use the Text search button to insert a text search control (screenshot), as well as a submit button.

You can choose whether to search just post titles, or post titles and post content. If you also wanted to include custom fields in the search, you would need to add Relevanssi, as described here: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/searching-texts-custom-fields-views-relevanssi/
