Hello,

Please elaborate the question with more details, how and where do you want to "insert in the edition of a user account an upload of the Gravatar image"?

The WordPress Gravatar feature depends on user's email address and their gravatar account, I suggest you try to follow WordPress document to setup Gravatar for each user:
