I use generate press for my theme. I make a single page for my project custom post type and ask to hide the feature image in the Toolset setting for GeneratePress Child and it doesn't work. I hide it with css.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I just checked with GeneratePressVersion: 2.3.2 (parent theme) and created single layout for custom post type "Student" and set the setting to disable the featured image on single student post and it works as expected.

Can you please check with the same theme version and check.

No, I did not use Gutenberg yet. Where exactly you are using Gutenberg? as you are using Layout, either you should go for Layouts or Gutenberg, thats the suggested approach.

Can you please send me your Pro theme zip so I will install and check if I'm able to reproduce the issue.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
