I have created a view that succesfully displays the related posts for a specified post type (in a post relationship). Now, I want this view to display only the related posts with a specified value for a relationship field. I have tried adding this field to the query filter, but unfortunately the views displays no results when this filter is added.

Is it possible to filter related posts in a view by a relationship field at all?

Thanks!

Hi Joost,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Is there an intermediary CPT for this relationship? or is the custom field on either the Parent or Child Post.

Either way you are only able to filter by fields that appear on the post directly. So if you want to filter Child A by a post field on Parent A then it won't be possible.

Thanks,
Shane
