I am trying to: View site and log in as admin on back-end.

I visited this URL: N/A

I expected to see: Normal after Toolset updates

Instead, I got: Access changed to Types Access and "Fatal error: Cannot access self:: when no class scope is active in /wp-content/plugins/types-access/includes/Helper.php on line 2422"

Newly updated Access turned to Types Access throwing Fatal Error (RENAMED THIS PLUGIN TO DISABLE) because it damaged live front end view. So debug info incomplete because the update throws public viewable and back-end admin Fatal Error messages.

Dear jan,

I can not duplicate same problem with the latest version of Access plugin 1.2.7.4 + fresh wordpress 4.4 installation.
Could you try this:
1) deactivate other plugins and switch to wordpress default theme, and test again
2) if the problem still exists, please duplicate same problem in a test site, and fill below private detail box with login details, we need a live website to debug this problem ,thanks
