Problem: Products do not show up in my secondary language shop page despite being translated correctly. The language switcher does not appear in the menu despite the shop page being translated. I'm using the Extra theme, WPML, and Layouts.
Solution: Ensure the et_builder domain string "Module" is not translated, but copied into the secondary language. This is critical for the shop page module to work in both languages.
The translated shop page does not appear to be linked up correctly. To fix the language switcher issue, try to first disconnect the translated shop page. Change the old page's URL to something else. Then create a new translated shop page using the Translation Editor. Save it, then modify the permalink to match the old URL. This will effectively reconnect the translated shop pages, and the language switcher will appear.
