[Resolved] exclude category from dropdown menu

This is the community support forum for Types plugin, which is part of Toolset. Toolset is a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients and people who registered for Types community support can post in it.

hello
i want to exclude some categories from dropdown menu in cred form , is it possible to exclude the child of category too easely ??

It is not natively supported.

You would need to create your own Code that does that.

The possibilities with CRED are illustrated here:

I am sorry to say that this is not possible with CRED, and also not in the road map of features by now.

A possibility is to create a generic Select Field, populate it with a Custom JSON input and then, on form submit, grab the value that has been chosen, so to update the Terms with a CRED cred_save_data action:

But this requires Custom Code, where I can only assist the part of the CRED API Code, not so the generation of the JSON values.
