I can't upgrade because when I upload Views 1.1 it says the folder already exists.

Destination folder already exists. /u01/var/www-vhosts/fel-dev/wp-content/plugins/wp-views/
Plugin install failed.

so how do I upgrade?

Hi Blythe,

Try deleting the existing folder before uploading the plugin.

Best regards,
Bruce.

I can't delete the existing folder, or I'll lose all the views and view templates I've created. Is there a way to back those up? There's nothing in the docs about it.
Thanks,

Hi Blythe,

Views doesn't store anything in the plugin folder, everything is stored in the database. You should be safe to delete the folder and upload the plugin.

Best regards,
Bruce
