Editor cannot edit other's custom posts even with cap "Edit any" checked

I am trying to: give Editor capability to edit other's custom posts "Artists"

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link (when switched to Access Control - Edit any is checked but not effective.

I expected to see: when "Edit any" is checked on "Artists" for "Editors" under Access Control, editors can edit any Artist.

Instead, I got:
Editor cannot edit other's custom posts even with cap "Edit any" checked, only those they created themselves, so "Edit any" cap is not working from Access Control. When I switch to WordPress default behaviour - it started to work. But I want this to be controlled from Toolset Access and it does not function in this particular respect.

Hi, please try these quick fixes:
- Go to Toolset > Access Control > Post types and set the native Posts post type to be controlled by Access Control. Then activate Access Control again for Artists and test. Sometimes activating Access Control on the native Post type fixes some minor issues like this.
- If that does not work, try publishing an Artist post while logged in as an Editor, and see if the Editor is then able to edit others' Artist posts.
