I am trying to: Duplicate a Layout that was created in a Content Layout Editor (not in the admin menu Toolset >> Layouts).

I can see how to duplicate lates that apear on Toolset >> Layouts admin page, but how do you duplicate a Layout if it was created by editing a page (when the standard wysiwyg editor is disabled)?

Thanks,
Eric

It's not possible, for a valid reason.

In Toolset Layouts you have 2 kind of Layouts.

The Content Layouts and the Template Layouts.

The first is used on a "per-post" basis, the second is intended more to be a Layout Template (Edits the whole template) and even thou you can assign it to just one Post as well, it's intended to be used on several Posts (whole Post Type).

That is why you can duplicate it.
In Content Layouts, the intention is that you create them for each single post, as if you would edit the content espcially just for that one post.

I suggest you use Template Layouts for your case, as that will perfectly fit your needs.

I will use the Duplicate Post plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/.

Thank you for your help.
