Hi Nigel,
you said
The short answer is that the page building part of Divi is not integrated into Toolset so that it cannot be used for designing content templates or layout cells, but that is "coming soon" (https://toolset.com/2016/09/see-divi-3-works-toolset/).
Can you tell me how long we have to wait? Because I have to start with divi 3 in latest 2 Weeks. Maybe you can send me an beta from divi integration 1.5 and layout 1.9.
i the meantime i will do some work in the backend with the data.

You can read more about the work on integrating page builders here: https://toolset.com/2016/09/toolset-page-builders-now-coming-soon/

thanks for help Henryk

Hi Luo Yang,
please let me talk with Nigel. The Toolset Divi Integration 1.4 is not working with divi 3.0x.
please read the text from Nigel:
"The short answer is that the page building part of Divi is not integrated into Toolset so that it cannot be used for designing content templates or layout cells, but that is "coming soon"

And you have given me the same link for plugin and text!!

so give this tiket to Nigel.
Thanks Henryk

Hi Henryk

I don't have any timetable for when a deeper integration with Divi will be published.

There are a lot of demands on the integration work from the many competing page builders available. Because there are so many page builders, I understand the priority in the upcoming release is to make Layouts work in a similar fashion as its own page builder, and once that work is complete more attention can be given to integrating 3rd party plugins and themes. It will happen, but I don't think you can count on seeing major updates in compatibility terms in the next release.

As Amir wrote in the blog post I pointed you to, "There’s just so much integration that we can lift only from one side."

Hi Nigel,
so I think you have to cut the site
https://toolset.com/2016/09/see-divi-3-works-toolset/
because many people think, that we can work with toolset and divi. So the best to start is to wait for layout 1,9 beta and to use Toolset Starter theme with child theme.
So I can cancel the divi theme for my projekt.

please can you send me the layout 1,9 beta End of October, that would be nice.

thanks for help. Henryk

Hi Henryk

The page you link to includes the text "In the near future, we are also planning to add Divi design for Content Templates" below the video, from which people can hopefully infer that the integration is not complete. I'm sorry if you viewed the page and had the impression that the integration was already complete.

I think the video was motivated by the major changes to Divi 3.0, and we wanted to see whether the existing integration still worked or would be broken by the update.

We don't have a formal beta programme. From time to time when something new is being added we invite beta testers to widen the scope of our own testing, and when we do that is announced on our blog, so keep an eye out there for any invitations. As the changes planned in Layouts 1.9 are quite significant it may make a good candidate for beta testing.
