[Resolved] Detecting the presence of Toolset

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to check in their custom code if Toolset is Installed and active.

Solution:

This can be done by using the wordpress default function in the link below.
https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_plugin_active/

Hi there,

I'm writing some custom PHP code that I only want to execute if Toolset is installed and activated. What's the best way to go about this? Should I check for the presence of a constant define by Toolset (if any)? Or maybe use the function is_plugin_active()?

Thank you for getting in touch.

It would be best to use the is_plugin_active() function to check to see if the plugin is active as you only need to provide the plugin directory information.
