Hello,

I added a new field (checkboxes) to my custom post type and would like to use that to filter views, but when I try to add the filter it is not there.

Field:
hidden link

Filter options:
hidden link

Is there another (maybe better) way to do such a thing?

Hi Jim,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Could you try this errata below.
https://toolset.com/errata/checkboxes-that-save-0-are-interpreted-as-checked-by-views/

This seems to be related to your exact scenario. Once you do this you will need to resave some of your posts. Once you've done this please let me know if the field started showing up .

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Jim,

Yes I understand but this issue from the erratas is also related.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the site to check on this for you ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Jim,

Thank you for the credentials.

However when I tried them I get an invalid email error.

Could you check on this and let me know if it works fine for you ?

Thanks,
Shane

Try the emailaddress instead of the name:
info@toolset.com

Just tested, works.

Yes, that helped...
I updated the plugins and now this field is available in the views query filter.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
