Dear kennethy,

I can see there is a message "post type mismatch" in your screenshot:
hidden link

That means you put the CRED form link into wrong place, I assume you are going to use CRED form to create new custom posts, in your first screenshot:
hidden link
You will need to choose option "New Post Form", in option "Select post form" choose the specific form name.

Hi,

My intention is just to create a contact form like a normal feed back form.
I need the input to be send to my email.

Do you think CRED post form works for me? or is better for me to have another plugin?

Yes, it is possible within CRED, see below test site:

1) Create a custom psot type "Feedback"
hidden link
user/pass: xgren/111111
Screenshot 651.JPG

2) Create a CRED form for creating new "Feedback" post,
hidden link
see screenshot 652.JPG

3) Put above CRED form into a page:
hidden link

See the result page:

Hope it help

Hi Luo,

Thank you for your help. the form works,

I have 2 more question.

1) How can I make my form pop up?
2) How can I Create a link to a view [shortcode] on my wp view widget title?

Sorry i have little knowledge on coding.. I'm learning on my own.

is there anyway to hyperlink a text to a view ?
ie.

<th id="frontintrotitle-more"><a href="hidden link name="Value for Money Front Intro"]">more...</a></th>

Q1) How can I make my form pop up?
There isn't such a built-in feature within CRED form, it needs custom codes, I have seen other users use Thinkbox to build such kind of popup CRED form, see below thread:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/using-thickbox-with-cred-forms/
Hope it help

Q2) How can I Create a link to a view [shortcode] on my wp view widget title?
Could you describe more details for the questions?
Which view shortcode are we talking about? Where do you want it display?
If you just need to display the Views shortcode [wpv-view] in the widget, you can simply create a text widget, and copy/paste the Views shortcode [wpv-view] into widget content

Q3) is there anyway to hyperlink a text to a view ?
No, Views works like this, you put a [wpv-view] shortcode into a page, with the URL of page, then you can setup the HTML link.
