Hi there

I have a CRED form to add a new custom post.

Part of this is an image

When I add the image/post in the WordPress backend it's fine
But CRED forces the post to be a link to the 150x150 version which is silly

How do I change this so it's the full size image link?

We have some issues with CRED upload and how it generates Thumbnails or displays them.

But I need more information on your current workflow to eventually help you with a solution.

1. How are you uploading the Image (Field, featured image, etc?)
2. Where (edit, create post)
3. Check also this settings screen (if you use Types):
wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf-custom-settings

Please can you provide me the workflow you use, so I can reproduce the problems and help you better?

Thank you

Hi there.

I have a custom post time called EVENTS.

There aren't many fields. One is an IMAGE field.

When I add a new event through the WP Admin Panel, it's perfect.

I then created a CRED form so I could add new events from the front end.

I then fill out the form as I would in the dashboard

The only issue is that when I click upload for the image and then upload it - the CRED form makes the link to the image as a 150x150 one - rather than full size.

I see.

I actually reported this issue in past, not sure why I didn't connect the dots 😐

1. You upload a Image with WP Admin > Types Image Field
- the image is uploaded full size to the Media
- the URL in the Image Field is the one of the Full size image

2. You do the same with CRED
- the image is still uploaded full size to the Media library
- but the URL in the Types field is the Thumbnail generated when uploading in the frontend

3. Of course if you now display the image with ShortCode, even if passing the parameter size="full", on the Post created with CRED you will see the Thumbnail

I apologize not having recognized earlier what we talk about here.

I add the issue to the already created internal tracker ticket

Please expect my informations here in the forum.

Thank you for your patience.

Oh ok - so it isn't me then?! Good! I was going mental trying to work it out.

Is there an ETA on this?

Cheers

#377890

We are going to address this in the next CRED release, don't have any ETA for now. Is there anything I can do for you?

#389889

Thanks for the information.

Is there any update yet? Doesn't seen a massive issue to fix?

#390605

No update yet, we will address in the next official release, not ETA yet, sorry.

Hi,

This is an update that we've launched a new Toolset release.

Please, backup your website and update WordPress and all Toolset plugins to the latest version then test the issue.

I'm waiting for your feedback.

Thanks.
